Throughout the past week I have been collecting music by Axwell. You might ask who he is. Axwell (born as Axel Christofer Hedfors, 18 December 1977 in Lund, Sweden) is a DJ, remixer, record producer and record label owner from Sweden. He is part of a three person group dubbed the Swedish House Mafia along with Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello. In 2011 he was placed 12th on the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ Poll. This guy brought us anthems such as "nothing but love" and the remix he did for The Temper Trap "sweet disposition". I will be playing more of his recent and classic tracks wherever I will be playing. Ladies and Gents.. Axwell... keep your head on the ground as I will be doing a feature on the dominance of electro house in South Africa.

Top DJ 2011 (David Guetta)

This guy has done everything. every big artist in the world has worked with this guy. I personally think he deserves the crown of being the best dj.

1. David Guetta

Style: House - electro and melodic
Best known for: Killing the dancefloor!
Tune of 2011: Can I have two favourite records, seeing as I am No.1? Avicii 'Levels', and Afrojack vs David Guetta 'Lunar'
Breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2011: Is Afrojack too big now? I will say Nicky Romero from Holland.

Top 100 DJs - London!

Full Line Up Details Announced
Hot on the heels of our first ever international Top 100 DJs party in Amserdam on 20th October, we return to the iconic home of the Top 100 DJs – Ministry of Sound, London on 26th October for the annual Award Winners’ Party.
An annual shindig for UK clubbers, international industry bods and superstar DJs alike, the Award Winners’ Party is a decadent midweek treat for Londoners, where we serve up a festival-size line up for a small charitable donation on the door. And you lot lap it up!
Twitter and Facebook have been abuzz with speculation, debate and controversy over this line up, but we are now in a position to announce the first wave of acts to rock your midweek socks off! And here it is…
In The Bar we have regular stadium rocker and house music goliath Fedde Le Grand. He will be joined by one of the most iconic figures in the worldwide dance music scene – Roger Sanchez. These established bods will be supported by hot new Swede talent Alesso.
Next door in The Box, euphoric sounds rule the roost. Soaring breakdowns and thrashing kickdrums will be provided by Gareth EmeryAly & Fila and Mat Zo
Elsewhere the VIP – in association with Point Blank Music School – will represent the more underground UK flavours as Best of British ‘Best DJ’ winner Paul Woolford plays alongside hot new UK talent Midland plus two lucky Point Blank Students.
The Baby Box will be hosted by Koolwaters with last year’s host Boy George holding fort alongside Marc Vedo!
All this plus a special guest appearance to be announced very soon make this an essential midweek jaunt in the capital.
As always there will be NO advance tickets, so get there early and pay your £10 donation to charity (RNID, Don’t Lose The Music) on the door and get ready for the sensory overload that is Top 100 DJs Awards Winners Party.
We’ll see you down the front!
